Terms for using AusWeather including the AusWeather Pro subscription.

The short version
- AusWeather is provided free; some features are available via the AusWeather Pro auto-renewing subscription.
- Weather information is best-effort and must not be used as the sole basis for emergency or safety decisions. Always follow advice from the Bureau of Meteorology and your local emergency services.
- You agree not to misuse the service.

AusWeather Pro subscription
AusWeather Pro is an auto-renewing subscription available through the App Store with monthly and yearly plans.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID account settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
- Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the App Store at the point of purchase in your local currency.
What Pro unlocks
- Push notifications for every severity of weather warning across every Australian state and territory you select.
- The Farmer view: per-hour spray windows, frost risk, ET₀ (evapotranspiration), and the extended forecast.
- River-gauge watchlist with push alerts when a gauge crosses a flood threshold.
- Custom locations beyond the built-in capital and regional centres.
- Home-screen widgets for any chosen city.
No warranty — safety disclaimer
AusWeather provides forecasts, observations, warnings, and river data sourced from third-party meteorological services. We make every effort to display this data accurately and promptly, but:
- The data may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong.
- Push delivery is not guaranteed — device, network, and platform conditions can delay or prevent a notification.
- AusWeather is not a substitute for official advice from the Bureau of Meteorology, the State Emergency Service, the Country Fire Authority, or your local emergency authority. Always check official sources before making decisions that affect safety or property.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AusWeather and Calligo IT exclude all warranties (express or implied) and accept no liability for any loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on the information it provides.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, mirror, or republish AusWeather’s output in bulk without permission.
- Attempt to interfere with the operation of the service or its infrastructure.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Refunds
Subscription billing and refunds are handled by Apple. Requests for refunds on App Store purchases should be made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use AusWeather after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
